Jack E. Reutzel,
Managing Attorney, has his background in city and regional planning and land use law. His professional background includes public sector planning experience in Grand Junction and Adams County, Colorado. His law practice centers on land use, which encompasses both private development and public sector work and related negotiations. Mr. Reutzel is a regular speaker on land use issues. He has been involved in zoning, special use applications, vested rights determinations and Board of Adjustment proceedings in most governmental jurisdictions in the Denver Metropolitan area, including Denver and Aurora (see resume).

Karen V. Reutzel, Managing Attorney, practices primarily in the areas of community association law, condominiums (residential and commercial), and other related real estate and land use matters. Ms. Reutzel prepares covenants, architectural guidelines and all other required documentation for new residential communities and commercial projects. She creates owners associations for new projects and assists developers during the developer control period. Ms. Reutzel also assists developers with new condominium projects, both residential and commercial, and commercial condominium conversions. In addition, Ms. Reutzel represents and advises homeowner associations. She also has significant experience in land use litigation and appeals. Ms. Reutzel graduated from the University of Denver School of Law in 1994. She is a member of the Order of St. Ives and served on the staff of the University of Denver Law Review. Her undergraduate degree is in Business Administration. Prior to practicing law, she worked for eight years in the stock brokerage and investment banking field. Her past business experience assists her in appreciating the financial aspects of real-estate development projects.

Harvey E. Deutsch, Of Counsel, has practiced all aspects of land use law for over 30 years and has continuously provided legal counsel to both private developers and governmental entities on a wide variety of land use matters. Mr. Deutsch has provided land use counsel for projects over much of the western United States, including Idaho, Hawaii and California in addition to Colorado.
